Commander-in-Chief visits Gaza

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited a memorial to the fallen soldiers engaged in Operation Black Arrow in 1955 at
the Gaza Strip in Israel on September 9.
At the Ministry of Defence in Tel Aviv, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with Chief of General Staff of the Israel Defence Forces Lieutenant General Gadi Eitenkok and held discussions on bilateral military cooperation and a military trainee exchange programme Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended a dinner hosted by the Head of Policy and Political Military Bureau, Major General (Ret.) Mr Amous Gilard.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing also visited Phalmarhim City’s Israel Airforce headquarters and Elbit Systems (Defense Electronic Company) in Rehovot City. Officials explained defence electronic matters.
