Commander-in-Chief meets service personnel of Myeik Station

WHICHEVER political system the country practices the main duty of the Tatmadaw is to carry out the service of national defence said Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at a meeting with service personnel of the Tatmadaw in Myeik Saturday.
The Tatmadaw is required to be maintained so that it can be relied upon by the people to carry out the defence of the nation, he added.
At the meeting the Commander-in-Chief also expanded on his signing of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement and the efforts needing to be made tomaintain peace in Myanmar.
He presented  books and food to the families of the members of the Myeik Station.
