Chief of Defence Services holds talks with Chinese counterpart

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a ceremonial welcome in Beijing, China, by Gen Fang Fenghui, the Chief of Joint Staff and a member of the Central Military Commission of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of the People’s Republic of China.
At the ceremony, the two chiefs received a formal salute and then inspected the Honour Guard.
Aftewards, they held talks over exchange of goodwill visits by leaders of the two armed forces, coordination at a strategic level, peace and stability at border areas, cooperation in sports, culture and in the medical and training sectors.
After the meeting, General Fang Fenghui hosted a dinner in honour of the Myanmar military delegation.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and party visited Ling Guang Si Temple in Beijing and paid homage to the Buddha’s Tooth Relic.
The delegation also visited the exhibition of the CETC company in Beijing.— Myanmar News Agency
