Broadcasting Governing Body (BGB) coordination meeting 3/2019 was held at Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister for Information and BGB Chairman U Aung Hla Tun said he acknowledged a time of struggle to stand economically for all media businesses including print and electronic media.
The deputy minister also expressed a belief that if the democracy is mature, the role of private media will be more important. He then called for openly discussions to tackle the difficulties in cooperation.
Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung also explained about the development matter of television and broadcasting enterprises. Afterwards, officials from mechanical division and admin division of MRTV, FM Bagan, Padamyar FM, Cherry FM, Shwe FM, Forever Group Co., Ltd, Shwe Than Lwin Media Co. Ltd., Family Entertainment Group, Mizzima Media Company Limited, DVB Multimedia Group Company Limited, Fortune Broadcasting Company Limited, KMA Tele Media Holdings Company Limited and My Multimedia Group Company Limited reported on their mechanical and administrative problems.
