BFM unveils building for primary school in Meiktila, funds electrification project

THE KBZ Brighter Future Myanmar foundation (BFM) handed over a new school building and water tank to a primary school in A primary about building built by BFM founding being seen. on Wednesday.
On behalf of the foundation, a manager of Kanbawza Bank presented documents related to the two facilities which were built at a cost of K 36.5 million. The documents were presented to Headmistress Daw Aye Aye Pyu of No 181 Basic Education Primary School in Zayatkon Village-tract, Meiktila Township. The one storey school building is 90 ft long and 23 ft wide, attached with two toilets. The water tank is 23ft in length and 10 ft in height with a storage capacity of 15,000 gallons.
Similarly, the BFM has funded K1 million to a electrification project in order to supply power to seven villages in Meiktila and Kyaukpadaung townships.
On 21 May, a manager of a Kanbawza Bank branch in Taunggyi handed over cash to Buddhist monks in various villages who will lead local area improvement projects with a focus on electricity availability.  More than 2,000 houses in seven villages will gain access to electricity under the project.
