Be adaptable to change says Minister for Information

U Myint Swe, Editor of the Myanma Alin newspaper, voices expectations of the employees at meeting with Union Minister for Information Dr Pe Myint.

Union Minister for Information, Dr Pe Myint has called on the employees of the ministry not to lose sight of the changes in the government’s machinery in order to be adaptable to the changes as the incumbent government is carrying out reforms.
The Union minister met with the employees who were serving in Yangon at the meeting hall of Yangon Central Press building in Theinbyu Road yesterday.
“Civil staff need to be adaptable to the changes not only in the political system but also in the technical era because only those who have the ability to be adapt to changes can achieve success,” he said.
The Union Minister has also urged the employees to develop themselves and to contribute the development of their works as part of efforts for the development of the country.
At the meeting, the employees voiced their expectations from the government and the Union minister attended to their needs.
In the afternoon, the Union Minister attended the second work coordination meeting on holding a peace song contest at Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV).
The competition titled “Peace Melody” would be held with the aim of contributing to the national reconciliation, peace effort and building a federal union.
A meeting on holding the Myanmar Democracy Week was held later at the same venue.
