CHAIRMAN of Amyotha Hluttaw Bill Committee U Khin Maung Yi read a report on traditional oil well bill sent back by Pyithu Hluttaw during Friday’s Amyotha Hluttaw (Upper House) session.
The Hluttaw session approved a bill amending the foreign exchange management law, the bank and monetary organisations bill, the bills amending the evidence act, the use of roads and bridges law, the highways law, the expressways law and the second amendment of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Law.
The Hluttaw approved the pesticides bill and the new plant species protection bill, which was submitted by Deputy Minister for Agriculture and Irrigation U Ohn Than. It also approved the science, technology and innovation bill by Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Ko Ko Oo and the bill amending the workshops act of 1951. The payment bill submitted by Deputy Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security U Htin Aung was also approved.
The Hluttaw session agreed to send back the Myanmar Accountancy Bill and the Private Education Bill to the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw.
