A ninth coordination meeting of the work committee to produce biography film of Bogyoke Aung San was held at the National Theatre on Myoma Kyaung Street, Dagon Township yesterday.
The coordination meeting was attended by departmental officials from work committee and sub-committees, artistes, technicians and invited guests.
At the meeting, Chairman of Bogyoke Aung San’s Biopic Development Committee and Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Thura U Aung Ko said the work of producing a biography film of Bogyoke Aung San had went through many twists and turns just as the actual work for independence conducted by Bogyoke Aung San himself. It was thanks to the collective efforts of the officials from the committee and sub-committees, artistes and technicians in successfully navigating those twists and turns that today’s situation was reached.
Now the making of the biography movie had reached a certain stage due to the support of the relevant ministries and the collective works of the experienced artistes.
Any attempt toward reaching a destination starts with the first step. It was the understanding that the officials from the committee and sub-committees, people providing supports for this biopic had taken more than the first step or first few steps by now, said the Union Minister.
Next Biopic Development Committee secretary U Tun Ohn explained about status of works conducted and future works followed by work committee joint secretary 2 U Lu Min explaining about works conducted to shoot the movie.
Afterwards meeting attendees join in the general discussion. The meeting came to a close after Chairman of Bogyoke Aung San’s Biopic Development Committee Union Minister Thura U Aung Ko delivered a closing speech.
