Nay Pyi Taw, 30 April — The 5th ASEAN Chiefs of Military Medicine Conference-5th ACMMC hosted by Myanmar was held at the Thingaha Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.
Present were Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Hla Htay Win, senior officers from the office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, the commander of the Nay Pyi Taw Command, representatives of medical corps from ASEAN countries and military attachés.
General Hla Htay Win delivered a speech at the conference while Director Brig-Gen Soe Win of Directorate of Medical Services extended greetings to the representatives.
Then, General Hla Htay Win and party and the representatives posed for documentary photographs.
Afterwards, the plenary session of the conference started. The discussions focused on the theme of the conference “Military medical service: Benefits to community” and public service of military medical services, cooperation in public services and sharing medical knowledge.
In the afternoon session, the director of Directorate of Medical Service handed over the emblem of the conference to Col Joseph M Acosta of the Philippines, which will host the 6th ACMMC and the conference concluded.  Myawady
