ABOUT 2,500 participants joined Myanmar’s first 3D Walk at People’s Park yesterday morning, seeking healthy and family lifestyle.
The flag went off around 7am where 2,500 were assembled into groups of five and enjoy the 3D route and going through a storylined journey of adventures.
“The 3D walk was amazing; not only we had fun taking pictures on each 3D path, we also get to listen to very informative and knowledgeable health talks from doctors as well as visit each booth set up at the event,” said Kyaw Kyaw Bo, a well-known actor in Myanmar who joined the event with his family.
The registration fees were donated to Yankin Children Hospital at the event. “Last year we donated all the proceeds we collected from the event to charity and we have done the same this year. The registration fee for this year was 2,500 Kyats for one form and each form accommodated registration spot for 2-3 people since this is a group and family activity. From that, we were able to raise a total of 2,182,500 Kyats,” said Daw May Zin Soe Htet, Marketing Director of City Mart Holdings Co. Ltd, which brought in the event together with Fraser and Neave Ltd-F&N to raise awareness on the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle and to inspire the people of Myanmar to pursue a healthy and active lifestyle while raising funds for a good cause.
Last year’s Active Family Day Out Event was celebrated by 2,000 participants and included a variety of activities to entertain both adults and children.
