The Yangon public bus line company plans to import another 100 new buses, which are expected to arrive early next year, according to Dr. Maung Aung , the secretary of the Yangon public bus company.
The company will buy 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 model buses with left-hand drive. The buses are expected to arrive early next year.
“Currently, the buses are a little bit difficult to purchase. Also, it takes two months for their shipment too. Bus routes are not confirmed yet. We added the new buses for the passengers to travel conveniently”, said Dr. Maung Aung.
The Yangon public bus line company plans to sell 5000 shares (Ks100,000 worth) to the public. Currently, the company sold an equity amounting to Ks 2.4 billion. The company will begin to sell the remaining shares on November 4.
