1.8 million yaba pills seized in Yathedaung, Rakhine State

Border guard police in Rakhine State discovered 1.8 million yaba pills hidden in the bushes in Yathedaung on Wednesday, according to police.
The illegal drugs worth more than Ks3.6billion were found during a patrol which was conducted after receiving information that people had descended with torch lights from the Mt Mayyu in Yathedaung on Tuesday evening.
The drugs were found in nine bags hidden near Aungthaya Village at the foot the mountain. Police are continuing their investigation. — GNLM
